Syndicate who robbed people withdrawing large sums of cash in 3 provinces jailed
A man was ordered by the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg to pay more than R67 000 monthly for his wife and minor child.

The Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg sentenced members of a bank robbery syndicate to jail on Tuesday.
The syndicate - which operated in Gauteng, the North West, and Limpopo - will serve sentences ranging from between 20 years and life in prison.
Vusimuzi Jomo Mazibuko, Xolani Comfort Mkhwanazi, Shaun Khumalo, Vusi David Sibanyoni, Sticks Nkuna Bhova, and Calvin Congo Mabunda faced several charges, including kidnapping, robbery, murder, fraud, and corruption.
Mazibuko and Mkhwanazi were each sentenced to life in prison.
Khumalo will serve 15 years, while Sibanyoni and Bhova will each serve an effective 20 years. Mabunda will serve 20 years.
According to National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane, the court sentenced them jointly to 843 years for 68 charges.
It ordered that some sentences run concurrently.
The group targeted and robbed people who withdrew large sums of money at ATMs and banks.
